I think the 'customers are always right' idea is false. Customers never are above common courtesy or the law. Littering, abusive talk, parking violations, fraud, theft, robbery, violence against customers or workers, misuse of property, etceteras, are wrong.
Obviously, customers commit much of the world's rudeness and crime.

All communities in the world should discuss this from now on. Employee errors are wrong and need fixing, crime and rude behavior cannot always be stopped, but customers must be more accountable for their actions. Right and wrong include outward conduct, not just feelings and opinions. Plus, crime hurts business and human life. Citizens should regularly be asked to report crime and suspicious people to law enforcers when they can. Businesses at risk for crime should use good security measures when possible. Handicap parking violations and striped zones should be plentiful and clearly marked for disabled people, with posted promises of tough penalties for violators. Also, the love of money IS a path to evil! Armed robbers often show that evil against their victims, at and away from businesses. That aside, it is disingenuous to suggest that customers never make mistakes, or that their feelings and identity excuse their mistakes.
Thank you.
